Occasion on the signing a memorandum of understanding between Water Resources Authority and the County Government of Garissa. The CEO WRA, Mr. Mohamed Shurie OGW  and H. E. Nathif J. Adam entered into the MOU for effective partnership between WRA, County Government of Garissa and WRUAS in realizing the objectives of the Horn of Africa Groundwater for Resilience Project(HOA-GW4R) for six years. The HOA-GW4R is aimed at fostering sustainable development and access of groundwater resources in the Merti and Neogene Aquifers in Garissa County. This will be done through providing information for groundwater resources decision makers in all levels of governance and put in investments that are responsive to building community resilience in the face of droughts and climate change.
