There were 24 WRUAs that had been developed and established within Mwache Catchment, aiming at soil conservation, sediment load control and improving community’s livelihoods within the entire catchment. After a field and physiographic survey, 10 WRUAs were prioritized for funding to implement catchment conservation (Sustainable Land Management) and livelihood enhancement activities.
