Catchment to Tap (C2T) Nexus Project

This is a WRA-WWF partnership to implement a project titled “Catchment 2 Tap”. C2T project a five-year nexus projects project being implemented by WWF-Kenya through the funding by the Dutch Embassy to integrate water resource management (WRM) and Water Access, Sanitation and Hygiene (WaSH). The project will be implemented majorly around Nakuru County, due to the importance of the two natural water towers located there. The project will also have a touch in the Upper Tana Basin (Thika catchment) and Lake Victoria South Basin (Homa Bay County), where the partners are able to leverage existing work through the WaterWorX and Blue Deal projects. C2T is aimed at developing an integrated program on water resource management in support of enhancing sustained water and sanitation supply in Kenya. The program is to be implemented over a period of 5 years. This is a collaboration between WRA and WWF. Apart from capacity building, WRUAs will benefit to the tune of Kshs.161million.
